Guess what day it is today!

Yep! My first physical audition in YEARS. It's been embarrassingly long since I actually warmed up my voice.

It went really well, save for the fact that I had to read for a role I didn't want. I took matters into my own hands and asked if I could read for the role I wanted. I think I did pretty okay. We have singing callbacks this week too.

BTW, classes for the week were cancelled since two sections in 9th Grade got COVID. I was really looking forward to getting a bunch of money, but oh well.

After auditions we stayed in the waiting area with the director and asked questions about the production while waiting to get picked up. Apparently they're making all the music+choreo, though I'm not sure how efficient this is when the musical opens in January. 

I know they can make this work though, the person making the music is my HUMS110 teacher, who is basically a genius at anything musical. I can't wait to watch/be in the musical. I hope they'll let me be ensemble at least, although I'm really hoping to be the Fox.

My brother picked me up but he did that thing where every time I got closer to the car he kept going forward. If I don't get my driver's license soon I'm gonna rip all my hair out.
