I managed to wake up at 4AM today. Not entirely sure how I did it...

I thought 4AM would be overkill but! It was literally the perfect amount of time to get ready and leave, because our call time today was 5:30 in the morning. I left my house at 5AM and arrived at school at 5:14 so this was probably a world record for my driver. I salute to him.

By the way, today was field trip day! We went to Taal, Batangas.

We did a loooot of things so I'm going to summarize with pictures:

1. My friend and I had the cutest luggage ever.

mine (left) jeanna's (right)

2. Bus ride with my friend's Pompompurin hamburger.

3. View from the three hour bus ride...

very pretty

4. First location!
giant statue of random man

He was very distinguished. I don't remember who he is but his house was pretty cool. He also had a very handsome porcelain chicken.

bawk

5. Second location: church!

queue the young and beautiful choir

6. Third location: pretty house with an air conditioner...?!

air conditioners r very great

Bonus: we saw these very dignified gentlemen on the street.

7. Fourth location: camera museum!

pretty lady...

8. Fifth location: another house...not sure who owns it but it was really cool. I also made a lot of conversation with the tour guide!

cool statue

We also saw some random bird eggs. I hope they'll hatch safely.

wowow

We also saw how stuff was stored in the past! It was super interesting.

ooooh

9. Last location: another museum/house but it was super interactive. They made us watch a video before we could go up. Their stories were really intense.

justice for modesta my girl wasnt mentioned again!

There was a really sweet cat outside. She gave us lots of cuddles and we gave her a lot of pets. Since she looked exactly like Gojo, her default name was GojoJo. I miss her...

Then we went back to the bus and we ate lunch! We had like an entire spread of food. I had chicken, rice, gravy and KIMCHI. It was so so so good. We also ate a bunch of our snacks before falling asleep.

There was karaoke on the bus so when I woke up it was to The Script's The Man Who Can't Be Moved. Obviously I immediately started singing.

We stopped by a souvenir store and I bought buko pie! You really can't go to Tagaytay without getting buko pie. It's basically sacrilege. Then we went back to the bus and resumed our karaoke. I sang Bring Me to Life because that's my default karaoke song. It was super epic.

When we got back to school (after another three hour ride), I went straight to the library since my sister's dismissal wasn't until 5PM! I took a nap with Lane and our friend Feli.

It was a very fulfilling day.
