Happy mid-autumn festival!

mooncakes from over the moon

My family and I went out to eat and do groceries. I looked for mooncakes - as one does during mooncake season - but they were all sold out! I should've gone earlier. Now we have to celebrate without mooncakes. What kind of mooncake festival doesn't have mooncakes? I'll try to pick some up tomorrow if that's any consolation.

Since there weren't any mooncakes, we got some pastries instead.

I brought them to Starbucks where we ordered drinks. Honestly, I was expecting the custard pastry to have a bit more chocolate but it was good, at least. The cheese one was my brother's but I'm assuming it was good too. Cheese makes everything at least tolerable.

We went home and I listened to Taylor for like a solid two hours. It's pretty therapeutic. Then a friend of mine reminded me of SasuSaku so I read a bunch of fics! I used to be a bit obsessed with it so it was a fun trip down memory lane. Maybe I should do the same with Ulquihime. 

I'll write soon. Probably. I've been pretty busy lately with waking up early and whatnot. I usually write super late at night so my writing schedule is taking a lot of damage.

I need to review for a few tests this week since I'm planning to be a better student than I was last year or the year before that...so I'm gonna write a bunch of notes and hope for the best. Maybe even host a few study sessions with people smarter than me? That always makes me feel smart.

But yeah. 2022 Ria is gonna be a genius. It's basically a given.
