If I was worried about any of my previous posts giving out too much information, this is probably the one that'll get me doxxed.

Anyway.

I'm sure I've mentioned many many times that I am in fact a theatre nerd. I've actually been in a few productions already, but nothing too crazy. However! This one is different since my school is doing it! And in my twelve years at this school, I've never been a part of a gigantic musical in my own school, mostly because my school didn't care about theatre until like four years ago.

Remember when I said I auditioned for the Little Prince? I did end up getting the Fox! I really wanted to be the Fox since they give like the greatest advice ever. And honestly, I didn't see myself in the other characters lol.

I was a bit worried since I would have to wear a fursuit but..too late now.

So yeah! I got the Fox. There's two foxes in the show - we're alternates - same with the Roses, Aviators, and the two Princes. 

We had a bunch of rehearsals and script readings and I ended up getting sick like a week before the show started, RIGHT BEFORE the cast recordings. Talk about bad luck. I still went to the cast recordings but my voice was so tired T_T It's okay tho. They ended up really good.

Cut to the show - we did two shows everyday for three days during the biggest festival in my school. I was actually kinda sad that I didn't get to enjoy the festival since I haven't been back in real school in such a long time. I don't regret joining the musical though. It was such an amazing experience.

There was a problem with my mic during my very last performance as The Fox, which also happened to be the show that my parents and younger sister watched. I was really upset but the owner of the school (who also happened to be in the musical) said it would be okay so I was like 🥹 it will be okay.

I actually had to hold back tears during a scene I was in right after my scenes as the Fox. But.....it's okay now. I'm over it, I think.

All in all, it was an awesome experience! I heard we're doing reruns, so I hope to avenge myself soon.
