Quite a while ago, my friend invited me to watch The Sound of Music the musical with him and a few others. Of course I agreed! That said, this was my first time ever watching a musical with friends.

There was just one little problem........on the day of, I couldn't get a grab!

(If you didn't know, or if you aren't Filipino, Grabs are basically Filo Ubers.)

I was panicking of course. The show was an hour away and I still didn't have a ride. But because ~the hills are alive with the sound of music~, my dad miraculously agreed to take me. I ended up arriving right before the show started.

When I say even the first few words gave me goosebumps, I really mean it! The cast was crazy good! But more on that on my Sound of Music review.

During intermission, I took some photos of myself and the posters and then RAN to get water because I was PARCHED. I drank a bit and tried to reenter the theatre but they made me leave my water :( I drank a bit more and then the usher told me to sign the cap of my bottle to know which bottle was mine. So I did.

The show was super good. I was crying so hard by the end. I especially looooved Karylle Tatlonghari as the Baroness. I have a clip of her and Joshua La Force's How Can Love Survive? from the media showing on repeat!

We met Markki Stroem on his way out and took pics with him! We also got his autograph. He is really tall.

My friend had to leave so I had my mouse moment at a David's Teahouse. I actually ordered spring rolls, but they accidentally gave me lumpiang shanghais (which are basically Filo spring rolls). They asked if I could pay for both and I did because I felt kinda bad.

 They gave me my spring rolls and I brought them home.

I think going to David's Teahouse is going to be my new after-musical ritual. I'm in desperate need of one and I can see myself craving Filo-Chinese food after a musical. Sounds yummy.
