Today was so chaotic. It was actually pretty funny.

So...I woke up around 11AM because I had a show to watch at 3PM and the theatre was kinda far. By 12 I was ready to go, but then! My mom needed my help with something. And it took like two hours. Which meant...it was 2PM.

Can I please reiterate that the show started at 3PM?

I was stressing. I couldn't get a grab. In my desperation, I walked outside and into my village, where I tried to get a trike, even though I've never gotten one here before. I found one and I asked the driver if he could take me to where I could get a taxi, so he did.

I got there and I tried to pay him but he said it was on the house. I was pretty touched.

And then! Another tragedy struck. I couldn't get a taxi. I asked a nearby taxi driver if he was available but he said he was just waiting for his customer. He advised me to just wait for a taxi to drive by...but none came...

At this point, other trike drivers were also giving me advice. I tried booking a grab and I was successful, but it was also 10 minutes away. By this point, it was already 2:30!

I think the taxi driver felt bad for me because then he cancelled his appointment and offered to take me instead. I'm literally so grateful to everyone who helped me today. Seriously.

I got to the venue with literally 5 minutes to spare. I paid the taxi driver and I gave him a 300 peso tip because that's literally the least I could do. I'm still in shock that someone could be as kind as him. The trike driver too! Restored my faith in humanity fr.

Anyway, the show I had tickets to was The Last Five Years. I've loooveed TLFY for so long, especially since every song is awesome. The composer...hmm, not as much. Awesome show though!

By the way, going out of the theatre and seeing THE RING on the chair...literally scarred me for life. I'm reconsidering married life. Maybe I'll be a nun like Maria (except she also got married...)

I also want to commend the marketing team. Everything was so amazing.

can i pls take this home

I dunno if I've talked about this before but every time I watch a show at Circuit/Power Mac now I get David's Teahouse. There's nothing yummier than Chinese food after a show.

beef rice and dumplings!

Also, thankfully, the ride home wasn't as chaotic lol.
