I was super late again today. I'm pretty bummed about it since the director got kinda mad at me...but like I didn't mean to be late :,( 

But today is an awesome day because! I have my second musical of the month. It's basically the culmination of the theatre workshop I've been doing since June. 

By the way, there was so much drama, but I'm not going to talk about it since I wasn't involved. Needless to say, it was...rough for a couple of days. But at least we have a show! 

One of our cast members asked if we wanted some Starbucks so of course I asked for a pomegranate refresher.

We did a few tech runs before we were called to do our makeup. In the midst of it we had a lapel check as well.

The musical went super well! Definitely good for something thrown together in like 2-ish weeks. There was a minor technical difficulty though. My song is a duet and my duet partner's lapel was dead. Apparently they were asking me to get closer to her but I didn't see the signal so I felt really bad again :( But it was okay...lol. One of my castmates gave her an emergency microphone.

I know we did well so I'm not going to dwell on it. I'm especially proud of myself since we did the I Hope I Get It choreography. I was killing myself for days trying to memorize it. In the end, I did! 

We all did so well. I was so proud of us. I can't wait to see my cast again.

Speaking of which, one of my former cast members (from 2019!) was in attendance. I hadn't seen him since literally forever so I was super happy. We took pics together and then I had to go to dinner with my family.

We went to Chili's since that was the only restaurant open. I ate well.

Then I finally went home at like midnight. It was another successful day of being great.
